Q-Block Computing seeks a skilled CNC Machinist Programmer for its Ottawa facility. This full-time role emphasizes CAD modeling, CNC setup, and machining high-precision parts with tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CNC machining for prototypes and short-run production

• Generate and modify CAD drawings using Solid Works

• Develop efficient CAM programs for optimal toolpath generation

• Program and operate Datron Neo 2+ CNC mill

• Design fixtures for precision work holding solutions

Requirements:

• Machinist Trade Certification or Red Seal Endorsement

• Minimum 4 years CNC experience with HAAS or Fanuc

• Proficiency in Solid Works and advanced CAM programming

• Strong ability to read engineering drawings

• Experience in rapid prototyping environments
