Harris Ottawa seeks a skilled Electro-mechanical Engineering Technologist. You will support the production line by assembling mechanical and electrical components and ensuring adherence to operational standards. Your expertise in interpreting schematics and drawings will be key in maintaining quality and compliance throughout the assembly process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret work instructions and safety rules
• Assemble electrical and mechanical components per specifications
• Conduct functional tests and visual inspections of materials
• Report and document deviations in quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant field
• 3-7 years of related work experience
• Proficient in CAD software, preferably Zuken
• Certified in J-STD-001 or IPC courses preferred
• Eligible for Canada’s Reliability security clearance
