Position: Lead Global Capacity Planning at Ciena
Ciena is looking for a motivated Global Production Capacity Planning Lead to enhance manufacturing efficiency within its Optical Core Engineering Team. This role focuses on capacity planning and data analytics for optimal production outcomes.

As a leader in capacity management, your experience will be pivotal in analyzing production assets and KPIs. With a bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, you'll support new product introductions while addressing manufacturing test challenges. Your contributions will impact production goals across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop capacity forecasting models for production

• Analyze test and manufacturing data for improvements

• Ensure equipment availability for production ramp-up

• Collaborate with team leaders on capacity alignment

• Create reports to guide performance metrics

Requirements:

• An engineering or supply chain degree

• More than 5 years in Production Planning or related

• Familiarity with Power BI and test databases

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage projects effectively
