Plumbing Fabrication Manager

Position: Plumbing Fabrication Manager at DILFO
Lead the fabrication shop at DILFO as Plumbing Fabrication Manager and drive operational excellence. Ensure safe and efficient production while achieving quality standards on large-scale projects.

Reporting to the Plumbing Superintendent, you will manage the fabrication operations, providing leadership to the shop team and ensuring adherence to project requirements. Key responsibilities include planning production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team performance and fabrication quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the plumbing fabrication shop

• Lead and mentor the Shop Supervisor and support staff

• Plan production resources to meet project timelines

• Ensure safety, quality, and operational standards are maintained

• Review production scheduling and adjust priorities as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years in construction or fabrication management

• Red Seal Plumbing Certificate or related post-secondary degree

• Experience in coordinating with Project Management and VDC

• Strong understanding of plumbing fabrication practices

• Valid Class G driver's license for project site travel
