Sanitation Technician

Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas in a clean and orderly condition to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected.

• Clean equipment and production areas.
• Assist and guide team members with sanitation tasks.
• Ensure cleaning meets quality and safety standards.
• Follow SOPs for chemical and equipment use.
• Remove trash and recycling regularly.
• Report supply needs to your supervisor.
• Complete required cleaning documentation.

• Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.

You will need to be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada. All successful candidates are required to pass background checks. Some tasks involve working with cleaning products, wearing protective equipment, and exposure to plant materials (not suitable for individuals with related allergies or sensitivities). The work environment can include warm, humid conditions with varied lighting.
