General Laborer L05 - MF

Assembly Line General Labour positions are responsible for working on the assembly line and producing our product based on specifications and drawings. The general laborer will perform repetitive tasks throughout a variety of stations to ensure the completion of the product from start to finish.

• Maintain a Safe work environment.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Use of manual chop saw, various pneumatic tools, and hand tools to prepare and assemble the finished product.
• Repetitive movements – bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Read production documents/drawings to ensure that parts are correctly chosen and applied to the assembly process.
• Attention to detail and comprehension of English language to interpret assembly information accurately.
• Operation of forklift and/or lift truck and electric pallet jack as required.
• Check the quality of the work performed.
• Ensure 5S is maintained at your workstation.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Work alongside your team to lead by example.
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow basic directions.
