Position: Ottawa Manufacturing Engineer Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying production issues, leading inspections, and developing comprehensive process documentation. You will conduct PFMEA to safeguard production quality and lend your expertise to the PSO and PPAP processes. This position requires strong collaboration with various internal departments for optimal production results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose solutions for identified production problems

• Perform product testing and inspections during manufacturing

• Update and implement effective manufacturing documentation

• Conduct PFMEA to eliminate potential issues

• Maintain training and supervision for production staff

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Electrical Engineering

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, ideally in aerospace

• Understanding of PFMEA and Continuous Improvement methodologies

• Proficiency in GD & T principles

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 or AS9100 standards
