CFT Recycling General Labourer Position

Become a vital part of the CFT Recycling team in Ottawa as a General Labourer. Support recycling efforts with physical work in an outdoor environment at our Bank Street yard.

We are seeking a dedicated part-time General Labourer to assist in our recycling operations. This position is well-suited for physically fit individuals who enjoy teamwork and outdoor duties. Your contributions will help us maintain a clean and organized yard while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely sort, move, and handle scrap metal materials

• Keep the yard organized and clean throughout the shift

• Manage different materials including tires and more

• Help load and unload various materials as needed

• Assist with general labour tasks and report issues encountered

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in general labour is essential

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Must be reliable, hardworking, and punctual

• Strong safety awareness and team mindset required

• Available to work Thursday to Saturday
