Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday)

FuzeHR is currently partnering with a premier, modern, climate-controlled precision manufacturing facility in the Ottawa area to find a skilled Senior CNC Lathe & 5-Axis Setup Machinist.

This is a critical, immediate opening to join a specialized, collaborative team running advanced machining centers, producing high-tolerance components for the aerospace, medical devices, military/defense, and mining industries.

• Perform efficient, independent CNC lathe and 5-axis milling machine setups to keep production moving.
• Work with challenging raw materials, billets, castings, and forgings including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, high-nickel alloys, brass, copper, plastics, and titanium.
• Review, edit, and verify G-code and programs at the machine using GibbsCAM
• Successfully pass off first-run parts and processes to junior machine operators, ensuring smooth shift continuity.

• 10 years of CNC lathe setup, multi-axis turning, and 5-axis milling center machining experience
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
