Material Handler; Evening

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Material Handler (Evening) s in the Electro-Mechanical Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Kitting carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the warehouse function. The Material Handler – Kitting generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities.

• Assists with interplant transfers
• Door Service (P0LR); works with company inventory system
• Transfers excess material between customers
• Performs cycle count activities
• Resolves discrepancies and recommends changes to processes to reduce future discrepancies
• Maintains and updates policies and procedures and trains others as required
• Replenishes raw material using a variety of established replenishment methods
• Expedite shortages or potential shortages in order that manufacturing and/or customer orders can be satisfied in a timely manner

• At least one (1) year of previous warehouse, material handling, and/or electronics-related experience, minimum
• High School Education, minimum
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail aptitude
• Excellent PC skills are required
• Basic math skills are required

• $19.00 hourly
• 10% shift premium on evening shifts
• 3-8 weeks of hands-on training
