Production Specialist

Position: Full-Time Production Specialist Role
Join Allyant as a Full-Time Production Specialist and contribute to production efforts that serve the low vision community. Utilize your editing and production skills to ensure accurate document creation and shipping.

The Production Specialist plays a crucial role in the daily operation of the Production Department, focusing on the reproduction of alternate format documents. Candidates will collaborate with the Production Manager and Senior Specialists to guarantee adherence to service level requirements while mastering various production tools and strategies, such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute document production and quality checks

• Operate manual and automated embossing and printing equipment

• Communicate effectively regarding job status with colleagues

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace

• Track work time to support invoicing efforts

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent credential

• Minimum 2 years in an office or production environment

• Familiarity with Braille considered an asset

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in relevant computer applications
