Position: MDA Space Mechanical and PCB Technician

At MDA Space, you will be integral to the Robotics and Space Operations team, where your skills in mechanical assembly, IPC-Class-3 soldering, and harness fabrication will shine. Collaborate closely with engineers as you support prototype development and product feedback, ensuring everything meets the highest standards of compliance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow schematic drawings for mechanical sub-assembly installation

• Execute soldering tasks for PCBs and circuit card assemblies

• Fabricate and secure wire harnesses accurately

• Contribute to design discussions and improve manufacturability

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of hands-on mechanical and soldering experience

• Strong IPC-Class-3 soldering and assembly capabilities

• Skills in building wire harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620

• Familiarity with tools like torque wrenches and multimeters

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
