About the role

We are looking to hire an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a full-time permanent day shift position. In this role, you will report directly to our Production Manager and be responsible for producing high-quality products. This hands‑on position allows you to work independently and allows you to demonstrate your skills. As part of a small team of technical experts, you must be dedicated, an effective communicator, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

This position follows a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, with occasional overtime as needed.

What you’re going to do
  • Build high-quality electromechanical assemblies
  • Read through process documentation, bills of materials (BOM), drawings and electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly of our products
  • Perform high-quality soldering using soldering tools, a microscope, and other equipment
  • Collaborate within a fast‑paced team environment to drive process improvements and cross‑training initiatives.
  • Work with the Research and Development department on new product introductions and contribute to the design of manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
What you bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical and electronics assembly experience
  • Highly competent in the use of assembly tools, crimping tools, automated equipment, and multimeters, with good hand‑eye coordination for small, sensitive components
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in working with optics is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with fine soldering and high‑precision work
  • IPC‑A‑610 and J‑Standard certification would be a strong asset
  • Proficient with computers as well as the capability to learn various programs a must
  • Well organized, team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
