As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for preparing formulas to ensure efficient production line operations. This role requires timely pre-shift preparation due to the nature of compounds, which cannot be premixed far in advance. You will need to adjust mixtures during slower periods to prevent expiration. This fast-paced and repetitive role demands strong attention to detail to avoid errors in coding and ingredient mixing.

While primarily desk-based, you will occasionally need to retrieve products from inventory, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.

• Prepare formulas for production, ensuring timely execution to maintain efficient workflow.
• Adjust mixtures as necessary during slow periods to prevent expiration.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring correct labeling and ingredient mixing.
• Retrieve products from inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate autonomy in managing daily tasks.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in production/manufacturing or food ingredient preparation, with pharma or medical experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to measure ingredients precisely.
• Reliability and good team attitude, supported by references from recent work.
• Ability to lift and move 50lbs drums of liquid.

• Ability to stand and move for 8-hour shifts.
• Competence in using computer systems for tracking orders and daily KPIs.
• Comfortable working around blood bags and minor odors.

This is a Contract position based out of Nepean, ON.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.84/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Nepean,ON.
