As a member of the Air Traffic Management Team (ATM); the ATM Engineering Student will be involved in new and ongoing development and engineering support of Air Traffic Control management systems. You will have a diverse set of responsibilities which can include develop/enhance software, data analysis, system and software testing. In this work term, the primary task for the student will be able to work individually and within a Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) Team with a focus on Radar Display and Flight Information systems.

As a member of the Air Traffic Management Team; the ATM Engineering Student will be involved in new and ongoing development and engineering support of Air Traffic Control systems.

You will have a diverse set of responsibilities which can include develop/enhance software, data analysis, system and software testing.

Programmes and Level

Students working towards a degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical, Computer, Software or similar disciplines. Eligible for COOP in Winter 2027 (January to April 2027) as part of your program.

Responsibilities
  • Software development (C/C++/Python/JavaScript) and testing.
  • Create test plans, procedures and scripts.
  • Support life cycle support activities of current systems and lab environments.
Desired Skills
  • Good understanding of programming.
  • Good understanding of operating systems.
  • Good understanding of Networking.
  • Good oral and written communications.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
