Production Associate - Mechanical Assembly

Become part of Curtiss-Wright’s Manufacturing Production team in Ottawa as a Mechanical Assembly Production Associate. Your mechanical skills will be vital to the assembly of high-quality CWDS products.

This position requires you to effectively perform mechanical assembly tasks, apply adhesives when necessary, and follow strict health and safety protocols. You will work to continuously improve processes while maintaining accurate records of production activities. Contributing to a clean and efficient workspace will also be part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute mechanical assembly based on provided specifications

• Operate machinery and tools safely

• Document production processes and yield improvements

• Participate in health and safety efforts

• Maintain an orderly workstation based on 6S

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in manufacturing ideal, but not mandatory

• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and torque tools

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Able to lift equipment and materials
