Source, assemble, and test chemical processing equipment as a Development Technician at BWXT Medical Ltd. Work on-site in Kanata, Ontario.
This 12-month term supports chemical system development, process commissioning, and equipment troubleshooting. You will perform experiments, complete QC methods, gather data, and report results according to established procedures. The position also involves cGMP requirements, technical advice, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Source and assemble chemical processing equipment
- Test equipment and commission new processes
- Commission products, equipment, and facilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair process equipment
- Provide technical advice as directed
- Three-year technologist diploma and relevant technical experience
- Three years of relevant technical experience normally required
- Nuclear Energy Worker qualification
- Demonstrated technical documentation writing capability
- Ability to comprehend drawings, schematics, and technical literature
