This full-time, one-year internship is perfect for recent graduates passionate about advocacy. You will work closely with the Communications and Public Engagement Specialist, focusing on enhancing CPJ’s public profile. Tasks include drafting communications materials, managing social media, and engaging with different audiences including public officials and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and distribute communication materials across CPJ platforms
• Promote educational engagements through various media
• Collaborate with the policy team to reach new audiences
• Edit and create web content and graphics
• Support fundraising efforts through communication materials
Requirements:
• Relevant university degree in Communications or a related field
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience in social media management
• Understanding of intersectional public policy
• Ability to work hybrid from Ottawa
Leverage your skills in advocacy and communication to contribute to CPJ's mission of addressing social inequalities in Canada.
