The Communications Coordinator will work under the interim CEO and collaborate with the communications team. This position requires expertise in social media management, public relations, and content creation. You will implement communication strategies aligned with NAFC's goals and enhance its reputation by proposing innovative ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage NAFC’s social media presence and engagement
• Monitor media coverage and provide analytical reports
• Coordinate public relations activities to build relationships
• Organize planning and execution of events and campaigns
• Maintain and update NAFC’s website for engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in communications or public relations
• Bilingual in French and English
• Knowledge of Indigenous history and culture
• Proficiency in social media management tools
