With a time commitment of 2-7 hours weekly, you’ll coordinate outreach efforts and promotional strategies for Collective Reflections. Your collaboration with the Editor(s)-in-Chief will include planning workshops and community events aimed at encouraging submissions and dialogue on key social topics.
Your role will help support and spotlight diverse identities in the Queen's and Kingston communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide the Editor(s)-in-Chief with event updates
• Execute the Collective Reflections mandate thoroughly
• Organize engaging promotional events for launches
• Foster submission encouragement at events
• Attend virtual and in-person team meetings
Requirements:
• Experience in event coordination and marketing
• Strong communication skills focused on community engagement
• Commitment to the AMS ethical standards
• Knowledge of social justice issues preferred
• Create a respectful, inclusive environment
Lead the charge in supporting creative expression and promoting diversity with the AMS.
