What you’ll do
  • Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to effectively convey our message to the public and media outlets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media representatives, and influencers to enhance our visibility and reputation.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment regarding our initiatives, providing insights to inform future communication strategies.
  • Organize and coordinate press events, media briefings, and other public relations activities to promote our projects and achievements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and website content.

  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in media relations, adapting strategies accordingly to maximize impact.
  • Provide training and support to team members on media engagement best practices and effective communication techniques.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of media campaigns and communication efforts, making recommendations for improvements based on data‑driven insights.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably in a bilingual environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in developing and executing communication strategies that drive engagement and awareness.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital communication tools to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics to assess the impact of communication initiatives.
