As part of the Strategic Communications team, this full-time role focuses on planning and executing public engagement initiatives that resonate with the community. You will participate in crafting messages, organizing events, and maintaining digital presence, ensuring transparent communication with residents and internal stakeholders alike. This position is vital for promoting municipal services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in evaluating engagement activities and results
• Create, edit, and manage digital content and social media
• Coordinate logistics for municipal events and activities
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer service support
• Maintain event materials and resources as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in Communications, Event Planning, or related fields
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in communications roles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and digital tools
• Capacity for evening or weekend work as required
