Junior Leasing & Community Marketing Coordinator
We're looking for an organized, friendly, and creative Junior Leasing & Community Marketing Coordinator to help prospective residents find their next home while building engaging communities across our apartment portfolio.
What you'll do- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Qualify prospective residents, answer questions about available suites and communities, and guide leads toward booking a viewing or taking the next leasing step
- Maintain accurate lead notes, follow-up activity, and prospect information in company systems
- Coordinate with on-site teams to stay current on suite availability, pricing, promotions, building features, and upcoming openings
- Create monthly social media calendars for apartment communities
- Develop engaging social content, including captions, graphics, short-form videos, stories, and posts that highlight suites, amenities, neighbourhoods, resident life, and leasing opportunities
- Schedule and publish approved content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Google Business Profile
- Monitor social channels and respond to comments or messages in a professional, brand-aligned manner
- Plan, promote, and host resident-focused community events, including open houses, seasonal activities, welcome events, and local partnerships
- Support event logistics, including vendor coordination, supplies, signage, invitations, set-up, and post-event reporting
- Track lead activity, response times, social-media performance, and event participation, sharing insights and recommendations with the marketing and operations teams
- Support other leasing, marketing, and administrative initiatives as needed
- Experience in customer service, leasing, hospitality, sales, marketing, or property management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional phone manner
- Strong organization, time-management, and follow-up skills; you can confidently manage several properties, priorities, and deadlines at once
- A creative eye and genuine interest in social media, content creation, and community building
- Comfort creating content for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and similar platforms
- Experience using Canva or comparable design tools
- Confidence hosting events and interacting with residents, prospects, vendors, and on-site teams
- A proactive, service-focused mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, leasing, or property-management platforms is an asset
