Athletic Events Promotion Assistant

Get involved with the Algonquin Wolves Promotion Team as an Athletic Events Promotion Assistant. Drive engagement and excitement for varsity events while working flexible hours at the Woodroffe Campus.

This position reports to the Manager of Athletic Operations and entails promoting the Wolves varsity teams and assisting with game day logistics.

Your role is to create an energetic atmosphere and engage the Algonquin community in athletic events. You will be executing promotional strategies that enhance the student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Wolves athletic events and assist in execution

• Carry out promotional campaigns across campus

• Prepare and dismantle event setups and signage

• Organize and run contests during games

• Update social media on game day as required

Requirements:

• Enrolled as an Algonquin College Student

• Excellent communication and customer service talents

• Able to work a flexible schedule and attend games

• Previous event promotion experience valued

• Friendly, organized, and punctual demeanor
