Position: Senate Communications Officer Role
Take a leading role in communications at the Senate of Canada as a Communications Officer. Focus on enhancing the visibility of committees and their legislative efforts through innovative strategies.

This full-time, indeterminate position involves developing communication strategies that spotlight the work of Senate committees. You will be responsible for content creation and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that key messages are timely and effective. Your experience in a fast-paced environment will support managing multiple communications projects, including social media outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute communications strategies for Senate activities

• Craft compelling content across various media platforms

• Work with committee chairs to prepare required materials

• Analyze data while managing concurrent project timelines

• Support committees during on-site engagements across Canada

Requirements:

• Degree in communications, journalism, or relevant experience

• At least five years in communications plan implementation

• Experience with organizational social media strategy

• Exceptional writing skills in both official languages

• Understanding of political dynamics in Canada is beneficial
