This role is located at our Tanger Outlets location in Ottawa and reports to AVP, Marketing. It is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing of the Centre including all Tanger-related programming.

• Responsible for execution of all marketing programming.
• Responsible for property gift card program marketing & administration.
• Responsible for establishing effective business relationships with the retailers on
  a local and National level in order to maximize the sales productivity and success
  of the events at the property.
• Manages content for the property owned channels including website, digital
  directories & social media channels.
• Supports the leasing function through participation in the leasing process,
  onboarding new retailers, development of leasing/sales materials, site signage,
  hoarding and optimal representation of the property to appropriate retailers.
• Responsible for the budget management and administration of marketing funds,
  including budget preparation, negotiating to maximize spend and adjusting to
  account for changes in income.
• Plans events to engage the community and drive traffic and sales.
• Execute all on-site events from the planning stages to event day to include all
  advertising, community partnerships, logistics, permitting and success metrics.
• Ensures the property marketing is aligned with Rio Can strategies and brand
  position.

• Responsible for maximizing non-traditional revenue through the execution of
  appropriate income-generating events, promotions and activities. In addition,
  drives the effort for obtaining partnerships for programs and events.
• Partners with Corporate Marketing, Asset Management, Operations & Leasing
  team members to support ancillary revenue goals.
• Works with community partners and non-profits in the area to enhance current
  and potential events.

• Build strong relationships with tenants to understand their business and create
  marketing opportunities on-site to drive traffic to their store.
• Connect and educate tenants on cross promoting at the property and develop
  marketing programs around these cross promotions.
• Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or
  directed.

• Previous experience as part of a commercial real estate development or mixed
  use project (an asset but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of commercial real estate industry including tenant and media
  relations (an asset but not mandatory)
• Demonstrated and experience executing onsite events from ideation to launch
