Position: Ottawa Youth Program Coordinator Role
Shape youth programs as a Program Specialist with Volunteer Ottawa. This full-time position leads the innovative Ottawa Youth Service Year, fostering community connections and individual development.

As the Youth Program Specialist, you will be at the forefront of the Ottawa Youth Service Year, ensuring that young participants gain valuable skills through placements. This collaborative role requires expertise in managing programs and building relationships with various stakeholders, making a lasting impact on the youth service landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment and selection process for youth participants

• Oversee participant onboarding with host organizations

• Ensure effective placement matching based on participant goals

• Provide ongoing coaching and support to youth participants

• Facilitate training sessions and educational modules

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in program coordination

• Proven track record working with diverse youth communities

• Strong organizational skills with a project management focus

• Excellent English communication skills

• Background in nonprofit organizations or related fields
