Position: Become a Board Director at EnviroCentre
Elevate environmental sustainability as a Board Director for Enviro Centre in the National Capital Region. Play a key role in shaping policies and governance for impactful climate action.
Enviro Centre, a dedicated environmental not-for-profit, is looking for four passionate board directors. This unpaid position involves governance responsibilities including quarterly board meetings and committee work. Ideal candidates will have experience in business management, equity initiatives, or come equipped with CPA credentials for the Treasurer's role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for financial and strategic planning

• Review and approve organizational policies and documents

• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives

• Foster collaboration in board discussions

• Support performance evaluations and risk assessments
Requirements:

• Understanding of climate action sectors necessary

• Commitment to a collaborative board culture

• Experience with non-profit governance an asset

• Must attend meetings in Ottawa

• Ready to engage in constructive decision-making
