Seasonal Kettle Program Coordinator

Location: Kemptville

Join The Salvation Army as a Seasonal Kettle Program Coordinator and lead efforts to support the Christmas Kettle Campaign. This role focuses on supervising, training volunteers, and handling donation logistics.

The Salvation Army is looking for a motivated individual to oversee kettle locations and facilitate smooth operations throughout the campaign. Key tasks involve supervising volunteers, ensuring safety in handling donations, and recruiting new volunteers. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong communication skills and a dedication to service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the placement and security of kettles

• Train and support staff and volunteers during the campaign

• Manage daily operational reports and relevant logistics

• Engage with community members and promote SA programs

• Coordinate recruitment and scheduling efforts for staff

Requirements:

• At least one year of customer service experience

• Completion of some high school education; diploma favored

• A valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver’s License required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
Excel skills necessary

• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
