Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse with one (1) year of experience to join the team in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful RPN/LPN provides services to patients on a walk-in and appointment basis in various primary and ambulatory care settings such as the Care Delivery Unit (CDU), treatment room, and specialty clinic in both French and English.

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians, registered nurses, and/or other healthcare providers.
• COVID screening prior to patients entering the clinic.
• Assistance with vaccinations.
• Conduct patient history and physical assessments.
• Perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Counsel patients on preventive health care.

• One (1) full-time equivalent year of nursing experience in the last 3 years in patient assessments and direct nursing care in adult primary or ambulatory care settings.
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program approved by the College/Board.
• Current and valid license from the provincial/territorial college or association in the province of practice.
• Certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level

• Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years).
• WHMIS certification within 2 years.

• Daytime hours, Monday to Friday; no evening or weekend shifts.
• Paid on an hourly basis.
• Medical and Dental benefits for positions over 22.5 hours.
