Base Salary: CAD $59,688.

Green Shield-NKS is a specialty pharmacy and healthcare company focused on the handling and service of injectable, infused and biologic medications. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. The nurse will administer infusion therapy for Green Shield-NKS in Ottawa:

• Provide exceptional patient and customer service in keeping with Green Shield-NKS Health values.
• Administer intravenous therapy and monitor patients under the care of a physician.
• Administer intramuscular vaccination and TB skin testing as ordered
• Take appropriate action in situations where the safety and well-being of the patient may be compromised.
• Adhere to best work safety practices and procedures
• Report Adverse Events as needed
• Adhere to nursing practices as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Commitment to continuing education
• Minimum of 1 year experience with IVs, hospital nursing preferred
• Experience with IV antibiotics, and biologics preferred
• Experience with Pediatric patient population an asset

• Current registration in good standing as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience; infusion therapy, acute/critical care, or specialty pharma experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS (required); ACLS, CVAA, and PALS considered strong assets.
• Proficiency with documentation tools, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word), and EMR systems.
• Familiarity with adverse event reporting and pharmacovigilance protocols.
• Ability to work independently and within a team-based model with strong problem-solving and clinical judgment skills.
• Demonstrated patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as occasional travel may be required.
