Clinical Director of Long-Term Care

Shape nursing excellence as the Clinical Director of Long-Term Care at Southbridge Homes in Nepean, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on high standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

As Clinical Director, you will lead the delivery of safe, resident-focused nursing services while ensuring adherence to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. Your responsibilities include creating effective care plans, supervising nursing staff, and fostering collaboration among a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage clinical nursing programs and services

• Develop and implement resident-centered care plans

• Ensure compliance with care legislation and reporting

• Recruit and lead nursing staff and related personnel

• Provide clinical guidance during critical incidents

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 2+ in leadership

• In-depth knowledge of long-term care laws

• Valid BLS/CPR certification

• Completion of a vulnerable sector police check
