As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and applying aseptic techniques. This role focuses on assessing patients, documenting their progress, and ensuring infection control. You will also work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care based on established plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and observe side effects
• Apply aseptic techniques for wound care
• Monitor respiratory and intravenous therapy
• Provide health education to patients and families
• Record patient observations in files
Requirements:
• Eligible for nursing licensure in your province
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified
• CPR and First Aid certificates required
• Specialization in geriatrics and palliative care
• 1 to 7 months of relevant experience
