In this critical role, you'll provide assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care for clients with concurrent disorders. Collaborating with psychiatrists and traveling to Ottawa's treatment facilities enables you to deliver holistic care while advocating best practices both independently and in teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support assessments and follow-up for substance use clients
• Partner with mental health professionals for evaluations
• Design and implement short-term treatment plans
• Travel to various addiction treatment facilities
• Foster collaborative interdisciplinary practices
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or BSCN with NP credentials
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
• Active RN registration in Ontario (Extended Class)
• NP-PHC or NP-Adult specialty certification
• Strong leadership and written communication skills
