Arnprior Regional Health offers a unique opportunity for a part-time GEM Registered Nurse. This position requires a strong background in acute care, preferably within the Emergency Department, while focusing on geriatric nursing. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to older adults in emergencies
• Monitor patients and evaluate their needs for treatment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective patient care
• Maintain documentation and utilize Meditech/EPIC systems
• Mentor junior nursing staff in geriatric care practices
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BScN or nursing diploma
• 3-5 years nursing experience, preferably in emergency or geriatrics
• Current BCLS and GPA certifications
• Leadership and strong communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing geriatric education
