Registered Nurse Pediatric Critical Care

CHEO seeks a Registered Nurse for its Critical Care Flex Team, specializing in Pediatric and Neonatal ICUs. Deliver direct nursing care for critically ill patients and families.

In this dynamic role at CHEO, you'll join the Critical Care Flex Team, specializing in both NICU and PICU. Your responsibilities involve assessing, planning, and executing tailored nursing care for critically ill infants and children. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll also educate families on wellness to enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement patient-centered nursing care

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for high-quality outcomes

• Offer education to families to support wellness

• Stay abreast of nursing practice standards

• Foster professional development in nursing practice

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least two years in pediatric acute care

• PALS certification within 12 months of hire

• Demonstrated culturally sensitive nursing skills
