Part-Time Registered Nurse at KDH

Location: Kemptville

Kemptville District Hospital is hiring Registered Nurses for the Medical/Surgical Unit on a permanent part-time basis. Ideal candidates are committed to Patient and Family Centred Care while bringing crucial nursing skills to the team.

This position requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and certifications in BCLS and ACLS. You should have experience in non-invasive ventilation, IV initiation, and life-saving medication administration. Strong communication and reliability are essential for this nursing role as it includes shifts varying from days to nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Unit

• Administer IVs and life-saving medications as needed

• Maintain accurate patient records using basic computer skills

• Collaborate with families to ensure patient-centered care

• Work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications

• Experience with non-invasive ventilation techniques

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Recent Critical Care or ER experience preferred
