Position: Registered Practical Nurse Part Time Role
Make a positive impact at Timber walk Retirement Community as a part time Registered Practical Nurse, working from 3pm to 11pm. Deliver compassionate care to seniors in Kanata, ON.

This part time role involves 30 hours bi-weekly and focuses on evaluating and supporting residents' health care needs. You'll manage medication administration, lead health assessments, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure quality care. Your experience will guide new employees as you take part in creating a conducive environment for senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Care in planning quality resident care

• Conduct ongoing assessments of physical and emotional well-being

• Administer medications according to physician orders

• Aid residents with personal care needs

• Mentor PSW/HCA members during shifts

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• A minimum of 2 years nursing experience in geriatric care

• CPR and First Aid credentials

• Ability to adapt to various situations

• Keen interest in senior care
