In this important role, you will be a vital part of the Women & Children-Surgical Unit, working under the supervision of the Department Manager. Your two years of case room and postpartum experience will aid you in delivering quality nursing care. You should possess the necessary certifications and be committed to ongoing education and quality assurance in nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the unit
• Maintain ongoing nursing education and competency
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members and patients
Requirements:
• BScN and current Ontario nursing license
• 2+ years in caseroom and postpartum care
• IV and BCLS certifications
• Recent birthing RN experience
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
