Position: Part-Time Registered Nurse Role at Extendicare

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, you will provide essential assessments and develop comprehensive care plans for residents. Collaborate with family members, supervise unregulated care providers, and ensure high-quality care delivery. Strong organizational and critical thinking skills will be key in managing the nursing team and responding to resident needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and evaluate care plans for residents

• Administer medications in compliance with regulations

• Lead care conferences and communicate with family

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care assignments

• Oversee self-medication assessments for residents

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license in your province

• Background in gerontology or long-term care

• Excellent communication and customer focus skills

• Competence in Microsoft Office tools

• Vulnerable Position Screening current within 6 months
