Temporary ICU Registered Nurse

Position: Temporary Full Time ICU Registered Nurse
Join Headwaters Health Care Centre as a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse in the ICU Department. Deliver compassionate care while working within a dedicated healthcare team that values Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.

This role focuses on providing specialized nursing duties in a critical care environment. You will be accountable for following the College of Nurses of Ontario's standards and enhancing patient care in the ICU. The position requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general and specialized nursing care in the ICU

• Follow Nursing Practice standards and approved care protocols

• Maintain and manage arterial and central lines

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize patient care

• Ensure effective communication with patients and families

Requirements:

• Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario

•

Required:

Coronary Care Level 1, preferred Level 2

• BCLS and ACLS certifications required

• Critical care experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills
