Reporting to the Director of Care, your role will centralize around delivering resident-focused care. You'll be responsible for leading a passionate healthcare team while ensuring high-quality nursing standards. Collaboration with families and healthcare professionals will be key to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments
• Liaise effectively with families and medical teams
• Supervise and evaluate PSWs and RPNs’ performance
• Conduct thorough rounds and address resident concerns
• Administer medication and maintain accurate care records
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse Certificate of Competence in Ontario
• Basic CPR certification requirement
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Complete RAI-MDS certification within the year
