Join CHEO as a Registered Nurse specializing in Hematology and Oncology. This role involves critical patient care, collaboration, and enhancing wellness through education and support. Reporting to the Manager, the ideal candidate will apply clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for patients and families in Oncology and Hematology.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Provide education and support for patients and families
- Maintain professional competency and practice quality standards
- Facilitate team collaboration and improve care quality
- Engage in quality improvement and research initiatives
- Current registration with the CNO
- Valid BCLS certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Preferred: 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Preferred: 6 months of Oncology experience
