Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Position

In this full-time position, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide advanced clinical practice, focusing on geriatric clients. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, delivering consultation services and addressing complex case management. You will be instrumental in implementing best practices, developing educational materials, and interpreting research findings specifically for geriatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for improved healthcare practices in geriatrics
• Evaluate and document clinical interventions and outcomes
• Provide consultations to multidisciplinary teams
• Assess learning needs and develop teaching strategies
• Support the management of complex geriatric cases
Requirements:
• Master of Science in Nursing or related field
• Valid nursing certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum three years of geriatrics experience
• SIR/BLS certification required
• Bilingual in French and English at intermediate level
