Position: Compassionate RPN Needed at Extendicare

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering patient-oriented nursing care. Working closely with the Director of Care, you will assess residents' needs, implement care plans, and ensure comprehensive documentation. Your expertise in gerontology and emergency response will significantly impact the quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team

• Conduct accurate and timely clinical assessments

• Administer medications and treatments respectfully

• Facilitate care conferences and resident transitions

• Uphold infection prevention and clinical safety practices

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse status in your province

• Background in geriatric care is an asset

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Recent Vulnerable Position Screening needed
