In addition, the clinic provides travel health services such as pre‑travel consultations, vaccinations for international destinations, and care for travel‑related illnesses. Rocaderm further enhances client well‑being by curating private wellness retreats for individuals, groups, and corporate clients.

Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role is based at Rocaderm Clinic in Ottawa, ON. The RPN will provide direct client care in an aesthetic and wellness setting, including preparing clients for treatments, supporting cosmetic procedures, administering injections and vaccines within scope of practice, and monitoring client comfort and safety. Daily responsibilities include conducting health assessments, obtaining medical histories, providing pre‑ and post‑treatment education, and documenting care accurately in clinical records.

The RPN, under the supervision of the Medical Director and Registered Nurse will provide services of:
Medical aesthetic, wellness, and travel health procedures, maintain treatment rooms and equipment, and ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards. The role also involves collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, supporting client follow‑up and care coordination, and contributing to a welcoming, professional, and inclusive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Fluent in French and English
• Demonstrated clinical skills in assessments, Cosmetic injections and Aesthetic treatments, Travel immunization and Vaccines administration, and documentation within the RPN scope of practice.
• Experience or strong interest in medical aesthetics, cosmetic injectables, dermatology, or Med Spa environments is an asset.
• Experience or strong interest in Immunization and Vaccine administration is an asset.
• Knowledge of wellness, women’s and men’s health, preventive care, and travel health or immunization practices is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client education skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), basic computer applications, and maintaining accurate, confidential health records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a dynamic, client‑centered clinic setting.
• Commitment to infection prevention and control, safety protocols, and continuous quality improvement.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, which may include evenings and weekends.
