Community-Focused Registered Nurse Position

Elevate community health as a Registered Nurse with Carlington Community Health Centre. Provide primary care, health education, and triage to diverse populations while promoting healthy lifestyles.

This role requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on client-centered care in a community health setting. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to deliver clinical care, health education, and outreach services. Your collaboration with various health professionals will aim to meet the unique needs of marginalized populations, contributing to impactful health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical nursing care including assessments and triage

• Support laboratory functions and prioritize client care coordination

• Promote health education, disease prevention, and equity

• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

• Maintain accurate documentation and client records

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Nursing

• 3–5 years of nursing experience in primary care

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Advanced French and knowledge of a third language is an asset

• Experience with marginalized populations in community health
