Position: Part-Time Registered Nurse at The Royal
Become a key player in client care with The Royal as a Part-Time Registered Nurse. This position involves assisting in E.C.T. procedures and intravenous ketamine infusions.

In this role, you will collaborate with other E.C.T. Nurses, showcasing your expertise in emergency equipment and patient monitoring. Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is a must, along with a thorough understanding of mental health legislation and compliance practices. Your ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining documentation accuracy is crucial to ensuring patient safety and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up equipment for E.C.T. and ketamine infusions

• Monitor health status of clients during procedures

• Document vital signs and any adverse events

• Transcribe E.C.T. details into Case Report Forms

• Ensure compliance with safety practices and policies

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BScN preferred; mental health experience an asset

• CPR certification; WHIMIS and fire training updated

• Skills in documentation and emergency situations

• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities
