As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will engage one-on-one with clients, offering tailored travel health advice and overseeing vaccinations. Your knowledge of CDC travel guidelines will help travelers feel secure on their journeys to destinations like Kenya and India. Maintaining a well-organized clinic and executing safety protocols are integral to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immunizations and travel health counseling
• Maintain proper storage and handling of vaccines
• Ensure clinic organization and cleanliness
• Participate in continuous training on travel medicine
• Collaborate with the Nurse Management Team to onboard new staff
Requirements:
• RPN certification with a current license
• Experience in travel medicine is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful background check clearance
• Willing to travel to Downtown Ottawa clinic
