This position focuses on providing comprehensive nursing support throughout the surgical process. Candidates must have a minimum of two years in peri-operative roles, engaging in both scrub and circulating duties in various surgical specialties, including Orthopedic, ENT, and Plastic. Expect a generous work-life balance with no evening or weekend responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for surgery with health assessments
• Function effectively as scrub or circulating nurse
• Oversee patient recovery and monitor vital signs
• Collaborate closely with the surgical staff
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and care
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is mandatory
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ontario
• At least two years clinical experience in peri-operative settings
• Required Basic Life Support certification
• Completion of Perioperative Nursing Certification Program
